As part of our exciting expansion into long-haul international markets, in August 2025, we introduced a new global livery–a bold visual evolution designed to spark awe and wonder around the world. This design showcases the natural wonder of the aurora borealis, a stunning phenomenon that captivates people across the globe.

On the horizon, a new onboard global experience for the 787-9s based in Seattle and Hawaiian Airlines-branded Airbus 330 widebody aircraft based in Honolulu.

The 787-9s with the new livery debut in January. By spring, all Dreamliners in our fleet are scheduled to showcase the new design.

Enhancing the global experience on our Airbus widebody fleet​

Our Airbus 330 widebody aircraft will remain dedicated to international long-haul and Continental U.S. flying to and from Hawaiʻi, operated by Hawaiian Airlines from our second-largest hub in Honolulu. To enhance the travel experience for our guests, we are making substantial investments to the onboard experience over the next few years, including all-new interiors with updated lie-flat seats, a new premium economy cabin and upgraded main cabin seats. New premium products and amenities will match the exceptional service provided by our flight attendants.

Concordo. La livrea è fantastica ed è chiaro il richiamo all'aurora boreale, ma non ha un logo che la identifichi. Sembra un (bellissimo) jet privato.

Dopo il rebranding direi personalmente una delle mie 4-5 livree preferite.

Ma io sono di parte...una delle altre prefe è proprio quella Hawaiian.

Hawaiian Airlines converts B787-9 order into B787-10s​

Hawaiian Airlines (HA, Honolulu) has converted orders for five B787-9s to five B787-10s, with one further delivery position assumed by Boeing Customer Finance.

The carrier currently has orders for six B787-9s, on top of four of the type it already operates, according to ch-aviation fleets data. All of the Boeing widebodies are expected to be stationed at Seattle Tacoma International to operate Alaska Airlines’ new long-haul routes to Europe and Asia.

Alaska Air Group’s plans at the start of 2025 were for Hawaiian Airlines to increase its fleet of B787-9s to five by the end of the year (receiving three during this period), add two more in 2026, and four in 2027.
