Air France chiude Jeddah

AF cesserà di volare verso Jeddah dal prossimo 2 Settembre. L'attuale volo che esegue il routing CDG-JED-JIB verrà trasformato in CDG-RUH-JIB, mantenendo dunque il servizio su Gibuti ed incrementando la capacità su Riyadh.

Sono davvero poche le compagnie europee rimaste a JED : British Airways, Lufthansa e Turkish Airlines.

Contemporaneamente, TK sta diventando sempre più il player di riferimento per il traffico Europa-KSA : quest'estate offrirà ben 58 voli/settimana verso 6 destinazioni saudite.

AIRFRANCE Changes to Saudi Arabia / Djibouti Service from Sep 2012

AIRFRANCE starting 03SEP12 is adjusting operation to Saudi Arabia, where it’ll cancel existing 3 weekly service to Jeddah, while increasing service to Riyadh. Service to Djibouti, which operates via Jeddah, will operate via Riyadh instead.

Saudia starting 03SEP12 is increasing operation on Jeddah – Paris CDG route, where it’ll increase from 4 weekly to daily. Saudia will fill the void with service increase as AIRFRANCE is suspending this route from the same date.
