Come tutti gli anni Air Berlin ripropone anche per la primavera 2015 un volo panoramico sul Polo Nord. Il volo sarà operato con A330 con partenza e arrivo a Dusseldorf. Quest' anno si svolgerà il 25 aprile 2015 data festiva in Italia, quindi potrebbe essere un occasione interessante. Il prezzo non è molto cheap, ma deve essere una esperienza unica. A sightseeing flight over the North Pole: in spring 2015 airberlin and the experts at Deutsche Polarflug are again offering this extraordinary trip. At 9 a.m. on 25 April, flight AB1111 will leave Düsseldorf for the vast expanses of the Arctic. The Airbus A330-200 belonging to airberlin's long-haul fleet will not just fly over the North Pole and Arctic Ocean. Remote Polar regions,
such as Spitsbergen and the snow- and ice-covered coastline of eastern Greenland, will also be visible from the aircraft.
‘This special flight is already the eighth North Pole flight undertaken by airberlin. Every year we receive extremely positive feedback from our guests about this extraordinary flight experience. Some passengers have even travelled to Düsseldorf from the US and Australia in order to be on the flight,’ according to Karsten von dem Hagen, Head of Sales Adhoc Flights at airberlin.
Polar explorers are on board to provide entertainment and background information about the unique nature of the Arctic, in the form of lectures. Films about the Polar region are also shown. A Nordic-inspired in-flight menu, created specifically for the special flight, completes the on-board services available during the twelve-hour round trip.
