Boeing reportedly plans to develop a pedal aircraft to help to reduce carbon emissions when taxiing. Passengers would be asked to pedal to taxi the plane between runways and parking spot. Ryanair 's CEO Micheal O'Leary declared himself enthusiastic by such a project, adding that passengers unwilling or unable to pedal will have to pay extra charge of €50 to boost ancillary revenues.
