Uhm, vedo che in questo forum le notizie cominciano a perdersi.... Nessuno ha parlato di un A340 Cathay che una settimanella fa ha fatto una diversione a FCO con engine #4 fire? Qualcuno ha notizie in merito?

Quello mi sembra HKG, se fosse accaduto a FCO lo avremmo saputo quasi subito.

A Cathay Pacific flight from Hong Kong to London made an emergency landing at Wuhan on Sunday after the pilot smelled smoke in the cockpit. Flight CX251, with 235 passengers and 18 crew, left Hong Kong at 11.50pm on Saturday, mainland reports said.
However, at 1.45am the Hubei airport control center received a request for an emergency landing from the pilot, who said there was smoke in the cockpit.
The aircraft landed at 2.07am and passengers were permitted to rest in the airport for a few hours before boarding a flight to Hong Kong and then on to London.
A Cathay spokeswoman confirmed the incident on flight CX251. The aircraft involved was a Boeing 777-300ER.

An investigation into the incident is under way. An initial report has been sent to the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department.

Se è accaduto oggi e non una settimanella fa e se è accaduto a HKG e non a FCO, forse è il caso di cambiare il titolo del thread.

Il video postato all'inizio non è sicuramente relativo a Fiumicino, inoltre è mostrato un 330, mentre in realtà è un 340. L'atterraggio è stato a Fiumicino, l'aereo è tutt'ora in hangar AZ ed è stato sostituito il motore sbruciacchiato (nr. 4). Strano che nessuno abbia riportato la notizia, sarà perché tutto è andato liscio.
A Cathay Pacific Airbus A340-300, registration B-HXH performing flight CX-293 from Hong Kong (China) to Rome Fiumicino (Italy), was enroute about 5.5 hours into the flight when the crew shut the #4 engine (CFM56, outboard right hand) down due to engine oil pressure indications. The aircraft continued to Rome for a safe landing about 30 minutes behind schedule.
The return flight CX-292 was cancelled. The engine is currently being replaced.
The airline confirmed the engine was shut down due to an engine oil pressure problem. The aircraft is safe to continue on three engines, therefore the flight was continued to Rome.

Ora ci siamo 
. Avevo capito che il volo non era diretto a Roma, quindi in effetti non c'è stata diversione. In atterraggio uscivano però fiammelle dal motore, che, una volta rimosso, era bello nero, allora non mi sembra che il problema sia stato semplicemente relativo all'indicazione pressione olio motore...

Non vorrei che adesso "se non c'e' ferito, non c'e' notizia.....". Mi par strano che se ci fossero stati feriti sia atterrato a FCO e non prima. Anche perchè per creare feriti, il problema avrebbe dovuto essere "molto grave" immagino
