LH lanciert im Olympia-Jahr 2008 neue Direktflüge nach Nanjing und Shenyang

Ab 31. März 2008 wird Lufthansa die neue Destination Nanjing fünf Mal pro Woche nonstop von Frankfurt her anfliegen. Die zweite neue Verbindung von München nach Shenyang wird ab dem 8. Juni 2008 drei Mal pro Woche via Seoul geflogen. Für beide Verbindungen wird Lufthansa einen Airbus A340-300 mit 221 Sitzplätzen in First, Business und Economy Class einsetzen. Mit dem Ausbau des Streckennetzes und mit den neuen chinesischen Star Alliance-Mitgliedern sei man, so Karl Ulrich Garnadt (Mitglied des Bereichvorstand, Lufthansa Passage Airlines), auch in Zukunft für den globalen Wettbewerb in Asien gerüstet.

Credo che complessivamente aumenteranno le frequenze per Seoul da 3xw a 6xw, di cui 3xw con destinazione finale Busan e 3xw Shenyang. Anche perchè non viene citata la chiusura di Busan nell'articolo.

Direct flights to Nanjing and Shenyang – Lufthansa the leading European airline in China

Lufthansa is expanding its route network from three to five destinations in China in the year of the Olympic summer games in Peking. Starting summer 2008 it will then be laying on the first flights by a European airline to route newcomers Nanjing from Frankfurt and Shenyang from Munich alongside its existing services to Peking, Shanghai and Guangzhou (Canton). Both the new connections will be operated by an Airbus A340-300 seating 221 passengers in First, Business and Economy Class.

Together with its services to the new destinations, Germany’s largest carrier will be operating a total of 58 flights weekly from its Frankfurt and Munich hubs to the People’s Republic of China and Hong Kong. “With Nanjing and Shenyang in the timetable, Lufthansa will be offering customers convenient and fast services to two further major Chinese cities, said Karl Ulrich Garnadt, Executive Vice President Services and Human Resources Lufthansa Passenger Airlines. “Among European airlines, Lufthansa has by far the best services to China with the most weekly direct connections and the widest choice of destinations. With the steady expansion of our network and with our new Chinese Star Alliance member-airlines, we are well poised for global competition in Asia now and also in the future.”

From 31 March 2008, Lufthansa is laying on five non-stop flights weekly on the new route ex Frankfurt to Nanjing. The City at the Yangtze River Delta lies about 270 kilometres west of Shanghai and has an important inland port. Between the two cities is one of China’s major commercial regions equipped with a good motorway network and where a number of German and international companies have set up branches. Many of the locations in the densely population region are within faster reach from Nanjing than from Shanghai. The new connection will certainly also offer a convenient alternative for Shanghai passengers.

The second new connection, which comes on stream from 8 June 2008, will link Munich thrice weekly with the Shenyang metropolis with a stopover in Seoul. The provincial capital in the northeast of China is located around 700 kilometres from Peking and ranks among China’s big industrial centres. Aside from automobile and aircraft production, the City is the home of an important IT sector. Shenyang is also one of the venues for the Olympics in summer 2008.

Flights to the new destinations can be booked from 13 December 2007. A special inaugural fare from 699 euros will be on offer from 19 December. This fare is for Economy Class, it includes taxes, fees and the Lufthansa Ticket Service Charge of 15 euros when booked online at www.lufthansa.com. Assolutamente no.
Seoul diventa addirittura 6xw : 3xw via Busan e 3xw via Shenyang !

Eccellente (tanto attesa) espansione, comunque, per LH nella PRC, sale dunque a 6 destinazioni : PEK, PVG, HKG, CAN, SHE e NKG..diventando cosi la prima compagnia europea per numero di destinazioni cinesi.

Sia NKG che SHE sono due forti poli industriali con importanti rapporti commerciali con l'Europa.

Nanjing è una città molto rilevante anche dal punto di vista turistico (una delle 5 più visitate in assoluto dagli stranieri) e in zona vi sono anche molti interessi italiani di spicco (Fiat ed Iveco tanto per fare due nomi).

conosco numerose persone che vanno in cina per lavoro e tutte purtroppo vanno via FRA, ci si trova bene e le frequenze giornaliere sono numerose...manco si sognano di volare con Alitalia... che tristezza

Lufthansa con Vce fa soldi a vagonate...e fa bene !!!

tanto io AZ per viaggi long-rage, l'ho usata per MXP-IAD, (un mese prima che chiudesse la rotta) e MXP-EZE....e basta...per il resto uso compagnie di bandiera locali o LH,KL,AF,BA

Si è vero , per la Cina ho volato tutte 4 le volte con LH sia per shanghai che per pechino , da VCE le frequenze sono molto comode sia via Monaco che Francoforte.
