Instructions for customers of cancelled flights to Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland

Danube Wings upon agreement with Czech Airlines will terminate lease of their plane with crew starting 7. March 2010. Flights in March and April are definitely cancelled. We expect that all the other flights to Great Britain and republic in Ireland during summer season will be cancelled as well.

We apologize to all the customers from cancelled flights for inconvenience. Please follow the instructions in the Danube Wings email of February 24th. If you bought ticket to any of the cancelled destinations and you did not receive our email, please contact us on the address letenky@vipwings.sk.


The reasons why Danube Wings decided to revise the flight schedule were low capacity on flights to the Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. This decision is closely connected with allocation of company sources towards summer flight schedule 2010.


Danube Wings concentrates its sources to opening eight new southern destinations in Croatia – Zadar, Split, Rijeka, and Italy – Reggio Calabria, Catania, Crotone, Bologna, Milan, which are already in sale. Company will continue to carry on domestic flights from Poprad-Tatry and Kosice. Cost effectiveness of all the provided flights is continuously monitored.


Danube Wings wants to make apologize to all clients for inconvenience.
 
hanno preferito ritirarsi subito visti gli scarsi load factor ottenuti con il B737, per certi versi prevedibile, fanno bene a concentrarsi sulla loro nicchia con l'ATR

Venezia --> Basilea.

Kosice --> Bergamo

Poprad --> Luton, Dublino, Manchester, Varsavia, Bruxelles, Basilea, Spalato.


Rotte confermate :

Bratislava --> Basilea, Kosice, Catania, Spalato, Zara.

Balaton --> Basilea.

Rijeka --> Kosice.

Bologna --> Reggio Calabria, Crotone.
 
La BTS-MAN é sempre andata bene quando era operata da SkyEurope, nonostante la competizione indiretta di FR su EMA. Strano che non abbia funzionato.

C'è pure la stagionale non confermata Bologna-Poprad..
In ogni caso, scusa, spero sia una defaillance la cancellazione del BLQ-BTS, più che altro perchè dato che l'ATR deve per forza volare tra le due città per riposizionarsi a BLQ, tutte le volte farebbero dei ferry?
