Incident: Livingston A332 at Dhaka on Aug 2nd 2009, bird strike

A Livingston Airbus A330-200 on behalf of Kuwait Airways, registration I-LIVL performing flight KU-284 from Dhaka (Bangladesh) to Kuwait (Kuwait) with 229 passengers, ingested a bird into one of its engine while climbing out of Dhaka. The crew decided to return to Dhaka, where the airplane landed safely.
Some of the passengers have been rebooked onto other flights, the majority have been put into local hotels waiting for a replacement aircraft.
