Giappone: tail strike aereo Korean Air in atterraggio

Un Boeing 773 di Korean Air ha strisciato due volte con la coda sull’aeroporto di Narita, a Tokio, durante l’atterraggio. Il velivolo ha poi rullato regolarmente fino al gate, ma la pista è rimasta chiusa per circa 80 minuti. La macchina, immatricolata HL7532, era impegnata nel volo KE703 proveniente da Seoul ed aveva a bordo 387 persone

A Korean Airlines Boeing 777-300, registration HL7532 performing flight KE-703 from Seoul Incheon (South Korea) to Tokyo Narita (Japan) with 387 people on board, struck its tail twice onto the runway about 7 seconds after the main gear touched down on Narita's runway 16R. The airplane rolled out safely, was checked out by emergency services and taxied to the gate. No injuries occured.

The landing and attitude appeared normal initially, but about 4 seconds after touch down the nose rose significantly resulting in two tail strikes. The damage is unclear, reports in South Korea speak of damage to the tail skid assembly only.

Narita's main runway 16R/34L (length 4000 meters/13100 feet) was closed for about 80 minutes leaving only the secondary runway 16L/34R (length 2180 meters/7150 feet) available.

A replacement Boeing 747-400 had to perform the return flight KE-704 with a delay of 5.5 hours.

Chissà se farà la fine del 340 di Emirates che per un tail strike é stato dismesso ...
 
...sembra un normale atterraggio e poi all'improvviso sembra decollare di nuovo, qualche esperto può fare qualche ipotesi.
