La compagnia svizzera ha aggiustato i suoi operativi di lungo raggio, con qualche frequenza in meno su alcune rotte.

SWISS long-haul minor reductions
As per 10MAR09 GDS timetable display, SWISS is reducing selected long-haul routes from Daily to 6 weekly between April and June 09

Zurich - Boston
Day 6 not operating from 03MAY09 to 16JUN09

Zurich - Chicago
Day 7 not operating from 27APR09 to 20JUN09

Zurich - Johannesburg
Day 3 (ZRH departure) not operating from 29APR09 to 10JUN09

Zurich - Los Angeles
Day 1 not operating from 28APR09 to 15JUN09

Zurich - Shanghai
Day 2 (ZRH departure) not operating from 29APR09 to 15JUN09
 
Però non si libera un aereo intero almeno credo. JNB e LAX sono per certo operate con A340-300. Credo anche PVG.

BOS e ORD credo con 332. Si libera mezzo 332 e mezzo 343. Facciamo un ibrido?:D

Anche la BOS e ORD sono operate con 343

Da nessuna parte, sono tagli di frequenze momentanei e credo siano legati a un non ottimale advance booking su alcune tratte. Quindi tolgono qualche frequenza nel periodo che precede il peak estivo, mi sembra una scelta razionale.
Mio cugino ha volato ZRH-YUL di LX proprio una settimana fa, l'aereo era vuoto per 2/3.

No, quindi mi stai dicendo che il 343 che prenderò tra 15 giorni da Zurigo a Chicago sarà configurato come? Non come riportato dal loro sito internet?
Non ho trovato TR sul LH Swiss, com'è? Io never covered

Additional SWISS Long-haul reductions Apr - Jun 09
As per 16MAR09 GDS timetable display, in addition to the flights being reduced from Daily to 6 weekly, SWISS is also reducing service from Daily to 6 weekly on the following long-haul service:

Zurich - Delhi 29MAR09 to 10APR09 (Day x2 from ZRH, Day x3 from BOM)

Service further reduce to 5 weekly from 11APR09 till 03JUL09 (Day x24 from ZRH)

Zurich - Miami 01MAY09 to 03JUL09 (Day x5)

Zurich - Mumbai 30APR09 to 30JUN09 (Day x3 from ZRH, Day x4 from BOM)
 
Secondo l'ultimo aggiornamento (sempre da airline route updates) alcune rotte (DEL, JNB, MIA, BOM, PVG) continueranno ora a essere operate con meno frequenze per tutta la stagione estiva. A questo elenco inoltre si aggiunge GRU (proprio su GRU il gruppo LH ha di recente tagliato anche 2/7 frequenze ex MUC, segno che forse c'è un pò di sovracapacità per il Brasile).

Torneranno invece a regime LAX/BOS/ORD da luglio, il periodo solitamente più favorevole per gli States.


SWISS extends long-haul capacity cut
As per GDS timetable display on 13MAY09, SWISS is extending is capacity cut for the rest of 2009 Summer season.

The following routes will continue to be operating at reduced frequency beyond 01JUL09

Zurich - Delhi Reduce from 7 to 5 weekly (Day x24)
Zurich - Johannesburg Reduce from 7 to 6 weekly (Day x2)
Zurich - Miami Reduce from 7 to 6 weekly from 08SEP09 (Day x2)
Zurich - Mumbai Reduce from 7 to 5 weekly (Day x13)
Zurich - Sao Paulo Reduce from 7 to 6 weekly (Day x3)
Zurich - Shanghai Reduce from 7 to 6 weekly (Day x2)
