Stamattina è decollato da FCO con 20 minuti di ritardo il volo per LAX. Vediamo come andrà...

Ma... cosa hanno tagliato per fare spazio a questo volo?
 
E' vero io ci dovrei volare ad Agosto!Dai almeno una bella novità per AZ
 
No no mi riferivo al volo AZ: si sono messi a fare un volo da LAX e io non ne so nulla? :(

Me lo ricordo L'MD 11 a LAX (io nel lontano 2000 vidi sia l'MD11 che, stranamente, un 747) sarebbe un bel colpo rivedere una coda AZ nella west coast!:)

Beh, in teoria dovrebbe atterrare a LAX a momenti :)
 
Beh a momenti non direi: dovrebbe atterrare alle 13.20 local time, aggiungici 9 ore di fusorario davanti ed ecco che atterra alle 22.20 ora italiana!
 
perchè non dovrebbe durare molto cari e soliti gufi?!

la situazione è molto critica! per questo....siamo realisti.....AZ è ormai col cappio al collo e la botola sta per aprirsi.....:(


cmq è carina la webcam di LAX....alle 21.50 circa mi collego e vedo se lo becco :)

ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the start of air service
between LAX and Rome at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Alitalia Airlines' new five-times-a-week service will be the only
nonstop flights between California and Italy. According to
airport officials, the new route is an example of a recent trend
among international air carriers that are choosing LAX as their
West Coast gateway, adding to the billions of dollars in economic
activity generated in Southern California by overseas flights of
wide-body aircraft.
WHEN: Sunday, June 1, 2008
-- Event begins: 2 p.m.
-- 12 noon: check-in at ticketing counter for media
interested in going onto airfield in LAX van to film
water cannon salute for first flight arriving from Rome;
van returns to event site at 1:30 p.m.
-- 1 p.m.: check-in at ticketing counter for all other
media

SECURITY
INSTRUCTIONS: ALL media going through passenger security screening must be
issued a temporary pass from the airlines to present with
government-issued photo identification. ALL media must
provide the following information to LAX Public Relations no
later than 5 p.m. Saturday, May 31 to ncastles@lawa.org:
(1) full name; (2) date of birth; (3) place of birth;
(4) government-issued ID number and issuing agency. Do not
bring prohibited items to passenger screening. All
liquids/gels over 3 ounces must fit into a one-quart,
zip-top bag.
PARKING: Broadcast-equipped media vans may park terminal curbside on the
Upper/Departure Level between Terminals 5 and 6. Vans parked
curbside must be attended at all times and display valid LAX
Media Parking Permit. ALL other media may park in Parking
Structure 5 across from Terminal 5 and bring parking stub to
event site for free validation.
VISUALS: -- Traditional, on-airfield water cannon salute for first
flight arriving from Rome (two L.A. Fire Department
trucks spray an arch of water over Alitalia aircraft as
it taxis to terminal gate -- if a sunny day, a large
rainbow is visible). Interested media must check in
early at 12 noon
-- Remarks by above speakers with passengers at boarding
gate
-- Celebratory toast, cake-cutting and ribbon-cutting with
passengers at boarding gate
-- On-airfield aircraft take-off from runway (interested
media will return to Gate 57 as soon as aircraft departs)
-- Opportunity to shoot archival B-roll of generic,
in-terminal passenger activity
