Flybaboo opens routes from Geneva to St Petersburg, Kiev, Sofia, Vienna and Ibiza and will link directly Nice and Venice
Flybaboo, the Geneva based airline, announces the launch of its new schedule including four new routes : St Petersburg (3 times weekly), Kiev (3 times), Sofia (3 times), Vienna (daily week days). The first three destinations will also be available from and to Nice with a seamless connection through Geneva. The Geneva-Nice route will be strengthened with a third daily flight while another daily flight will operate a direct link between Nice and Venice. Of course, there is no change in the existing schedule between Geneva and our other destinations: Florence, Naples, Rome, Valencia and Venice. To those must be added the seasonal flights to Biarritz, St Tropez and Tangiers. Finally, Ibiza will benefit from two Friday evening and Sunday evening flights throughout the summer season: beach-goers and those who love to party be aware.
Announcing the Eastern Europe openings, Jacques Bankir, Flybaboo’s CEO, said : “Cities in Eastern Europe have a huge potential and are developing very rapidly . We are happy to be able to offer these new flights with an excellent schedule aimed at both our business and leisure passengers”.
All new routes will be launched between 26 May and 1st July. All flights are on sale both throughout the travel industry and on line.
New aircraft on new routes
This development of Flybaboo is made possible by the addition to the fleet of three Embraer 190 aircraft of 100 seats each. They will join the two Bombardier Q400 seating 74. Thus the fleet capacity is tripled. The best regional jet will be flown together with the best performing turboprop aircraft. The E190 brings the comfort of the Airbus 320 without the middle seat: four abreast instead of six. And ample room for carry-on baggage as well as checked baggage. This jet will fly the longer Eastern European routes but also more than half the flights to Rome and Nice.
Our clients will find on board the new E190 jets the warm welcome and in-flight service that has made our Q400 passengers feel distinguished.
