Passenger restrained on Boston-bound British Airways flight
BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A female passenger was restrained Tuesday on a British Airways flight headed for Logan Airport after allegedly trying to enter the cockpit.
The flight, British Airways flight 213, took off from Heathrow Airport in London Tuesday morning and landed at Logan Airport around 1:30 p.m.
"A passenger on British Airways Flight 213, a 777 en route from Heathrow to Boston, tried to open an exit door and has been restrained. The cockpit is secure and the flight is continuing to Boston," the FAA said in a statement.
Int a statement British Airways saying the will not allow an abusive or unruly passenger.
"Our customers and crew deserve to have a safe and enjoyable flight and we do not tolerate abusive behavior. Our crew have requested that police meet the flight in Boston due to an unruly customer on board," the statement said.
"A short time ago Massachusetts State Police were notified by British Airways that a passenger on Flight 213 attempted to enter the cockpit while the plane was in flight. We have not yet confirmed that she tried to enter the cockpit or, if she did, what her motivation for doing so was. The plane is on the ground and troopers are presently boarding it to take the passenger into custody and interview flight crew and witnesses. This is a developing situation. Once we know more we will update," Massachusetts State Police said in a statement.
Security expert Anthony Amore spoke to FOX25 and said the Mass. State Police have dealth with problems like this before and know what to do.
“The Massachusetts State Police at Logan are very, very experienced in this sort of thing. I can’t think of any other group of law enforcement I’d rather have responding to it. They will deal with this person severely, they know exactly what to do and how to handle it,” he said.

ROMA - Momenti di tensione sul volo della British Airways partito da Londra in direzione di Boston, quando una donna ubriaca ha tentato di aprire un portellonne. E' stata fermata dai componenti dell'equipaggio e il velivolo è atterrato a Boston, come previsto. Sul mezzo di trasporto è scatata l'allerta di livello due, cosa che implica che c'è stata violenza.
Stando a un portavoce della compagnia aerea "un passeggero ribelle e squilibrato ha cercato di aprire un portellone dell'aereo" e non la cabina di pilotaggio come si era creduto in un primo momento. Il volo numero 213 ha toccato il suolo americano alle 13.30 (erano le 19.30 in Italia). La donna è stata arrestata. La polizia ha diffuso un comunicato in cui si esclude "qualsiasi collegamento con atti di terrorismo".

Ma sbaglio o a causa della differenza della pressione tra interno ed esterno è praticamente impossibile aprire un portellone in volo?
Giusto. La signora potevano lasciarla li' a cercare di aprire porte fino praticamente all'arrivo, e non sarebbe riuscita... Quest'anno in UK c'e' stata un'ecatombe di gente che da' il peggio di se a bordo, dal figlio meno famoso della famiglia Hilton ai peggio tamarri che vanno a Ibiza.
