Air Vallée (DO, Genoa) will begin weekly charter flights from the southern Italian cities of Rome Fiumicino and Salerno, to Portoroz in Slovenia beginning December 4. The service, which is scheduled to run until April 7, 2015, will operate on-board the Italian carrier's leased Amapola Flyg Fokker 50. Sales are handled by CTM Travel Air.

Situated on Slovenia's south-western Adriatic coast, Portorož (or Portorose in Italian) is renowned for its hospitality as well as gambling and gaming industries.

Che senso avrebbe Napoli e Salerno? Comunque non ricordo di aver visto altre compagnie che saltano così di palo in frasca a distanza di pochi mesi!
 
Non mi pare che ci sia alcun volo per Napoli - né ipotetico né cancellato - perché nella brochure relativa agli alberghi nella città di Napoli viene, comunque, indicato Salerno come l'aeroporto di destinazione.

Beh, meglio così :) Io le brochure non le ho viste, cmq il Fokker in questo momento è in volo e dovrebbe atterrare in orario.
 
Sembra, e ripeto sembra, che ci saranno charter anche su Podgorica per capodanno ed epifania

Air Vallée (DO, Genoa) has abandoned plans to offer flights from the southern Italian cities of Rome Fiumicino and Salerno to Portoroz, Slovenia on the back of low demand. Return flights, which were to have begun on December 4, were marketed by CTM Travel Air at EUR260 (USD312) compared to EUR120 for return flights from Rome to Venice Treviso, just 2 hours away by road from Portoroz.

Despite recent setbacks which also saw the collapse of a charter contract with Blue Wings Air (Foggia) to operate Milan Malpensa to Foggia flights, the Ligurian operator has bounced back with a new contract with Balkan Express offering a 3x weekly charter service from Bari and Brindisi to Tirana, Albania.

Grazie per la segnalazione Paolo.
Ho simulato un a/r BDS-TIA dal 30/1 al 6/2 ed il preventivo all inclusive (compreso bagaglio in stiva di 15 Kg!) è di 65 Euro. Non male!

Unica nota riportata sul sito e che non mi convince è la seguente: N.B.: "gli operativi dei voli sono indicativi e soggetti a variazioni". Della serie: siete liberi di acquistare il biglietto, ma so caxxi vostri se non parte :D

On Monday 26 January 2015, Tirana International Airport (TIA) inaugurated a new route between Tirana and Bari. Tour and Fly company Balkan Express will operate the route three times per week—on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays—with a Fokker 50 of the airline Air Valle.



“This is very good news for all of us. Tailored to offer short or weekend stays, flights are scheduled at convenient times for Italians working in Albania and will facilitate travel to southern Italy for many Albanians; the flight is just 50 minutes,” said TIA’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Rolf Castro-Vasquez.



An official statement from the operator points out that tickets can be purchased by contacting Balkan Express at +355 4225 1837 or visiting its web site www.balkanexpress.it or from any of its offices or authorized travel agents.



The new route brings to 21 the number of foreign destinations reached by direct flight from Tirana.



Balkan Express also provides notice that, as of 2 March, it will start flights between Tirana and Brindisi, offering very low prices for passengers.



Currently, TIA is preparing to open other destinations in the coming months and continues to offer consistently high standards of security, service and comfort for all of its customers.
