La buona notizia è che non ci sono (sedicenti) italiane.
Non mi stupisco di vedere le solite (meteore?) spagnole, mentre l'India è talmente messa male aeronauticamente che si vede "ce stanno a provà" (Air Kerala?!)
Poi per il resto si potrebbero aprire delle scommesse su quante della lista partiranno effettivamente...
Un piccolo appunto: molte sono "rimpasti" di compagnie già esistite: ad esempio la semisconosciuta CityLink Ghana è un'aerolinea chiusa nel 2010 ma che ha operato per anni sia nel settore minicharter coi Cessna sia regional (ricordo i Saab 340)

According to the data listing in the OAG and the GDS timetable search, Skygreece Airlines from late-June 2014 will begin operations with its sole Boeing 767-300ER, offering flights to Asmara, Mogadishu, London and Stockholm. In both OAG and GDS, the airline uses FlexFlight IATA code “W2″.

SkyGreece Airlines has announced it will soon conduct selective charter flights until it receives the necessary licenses from the American and Canadian Civil Aviation Authorities to launch scheduled flights from Athens to New York, Toronto and Montreal. SkyGreece is a new Greek transatlantic airline, founded by Greek expatriates from Canada and the United States.


The airline has acquired all necessary permits from the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority and the Greek Ministry of Transport and recently conducted a scheduled test flight in Greece. It expects to enter the market dynamically with transatlantic flights all in Greek traditional hospitality.


According to a press release, SkyGreece is staffed with experienced personnel in the aviation industry whose main goal is to unite Greece with the Greek diaspora.


The first aircraft of SkyGreece Airlines is a Boeing 767-300 ER, named Taxiarchis that has 274 seats, and hosts a distinctive Greek flag on its tail. The airline is currently in the process of acquiring a second aircraft.


The company operates in Markopoulo Attica, Montreal and Toronto and will open offices in New York in the future

New Athens-based, Canadian-founded airline SkyGreece expects to begin flights for summer 2014.


Earlier this year, it was reported that the fledgling airline was looking to begin serving Toronto, Montreal and New York in May, however, according to the carrier's website, SkyGreece is now targeting the summer of 2014 for its inaugural flight.


Founded in September of 2012 by Peter Chilakos, Nicholas Alexandris and Bill Alefantis - all of whom are Canadians of Greek origin - the airline plans to offer flights between Athens and Toronto, Montreal New York and Chicago.


Though it was initially reported that the newly founded airline was going to fly the Airbus 340-300, the airline confirmed last week its purchase of a Boeing 767-300, the first of two aircrafts the airline has said it will purchase in 2013, with the second to be announced later this year.


The Boeing 767-300 will have a capacity of 274 seats; 164 economy class and 110 comfort class.


A SkyGreece representative has told THN that more announcements concerning the debut of the airline will be made in early October.


SkyGreece Airlines has offices in Athens, Montreal, Toronto and New York.
