Un uomo armato con un potente fucile avrebbe sparato al terminal 3 prima di essere fermato

L'aeroporto internazionale di Los Angeles, in California, e' stato evacuato - secondo le prime informazioni - in seguito a una sparatoria. Lo riferiscono la Cnn e la Cbs. L'incidente sarebbe avvenuto al Terminal 3, dove un uomo armato con un potente fucile sarebbe stato visto sparare prima di essere fermato dalla polizia.

Ci sarebbero almeno tre feriti in seguito alla sparatoria avvenuta all'aeroporto di Los Angeles. Lo riportano i media. Testimoni parlano di una enorme ressa che si sarebbe venuta a creare dopo gli spari. In seguito al panico generale, molte persone sono uscite dal Terminal correndo sulla pista. Molte altre si sono riparate sotto le sedie.

10: 30 a.m.: EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT: Brian Adamick, 43, said he was getting ready to fly to Chicago for his brother’s wedding and was boarding a Spirit Airlines flight at gate 32.

He said people were running through the terminal, away from a security area. Adamick said went through an emergency exit downstairs onto the tarmac with several other passengers.

“While I was on the tarmac, I heard two gunshots from the same area where the people had been running and screaming,” he said.

A few minutes after he got outside, buses showed up to help evacuate passengers. He saw a wounded TSA agent board one of the buses. The man’s ankle was bloody: “it looked like it was straight out of the movies.,” Adamick said.

The man, told him, “I got shot, I’m fine.” He told passengers not to worry about him and that he had been shot before, Adamick said.

10:24 a.m.: TSA spokesman Nico Melendez confirmed one TSA officer was shot at LAX. He could provide no other details.

10:18 a.m.: Planes at LAX are grounded as the investigation of a shooting in which multiple people were wounded continues.

10:13 a.m.: A source at LAX told The Times that two or three TSA employees were hit by gunfire.

10:06 a.m.: The Los Angeles Police Department is on a citywide tactical alert. The LAPD would confirm only that two people were injured and that the suspect was in custody. LAPD Commander Andy Smith said "multiple shootings" occurred and that officers are still sorting out how many people were hurt.

10:05 a.m.: A man armed with a rifle opened fire at Los Angeles International Airport, leaving several people wounded.

Law enforcement sources told The Times that at least one Transportation Security Administration agent was shot.

Law enforcement officers were flooding the airport and terminals 2 and 3 were being evacuated.

Tory Belleci of the television show "Mythbusters" tweeted: "Heard gun shots then everyone starting running for the door. Not sure if anyone was hurt. #LAX."

TV footage showed dozens of offficers swarming the airport. Images also showed a law enforcement officer being treated by paramedics. He appeared to be alert. Another officer had a bloody hand.

Ora sembra che il traffico sia ripreso, un agente TSA e' morto, 2 o 3 ricoverati sono in gravi condizioni.

(ANSA) - NEW YORK, 1 NOV - Un agente della Tsa (la polizia americana dei trasporti) e' rimasto ucciso nella sparatoria di oggi all'aeroporto di Los Angeles. Lo riferisce via Twitter il Los Angeles Times. La sparatoria, al terminal 3, e' avvenuta nell'area di controllo dei passeggeri. L'uomo che ha aperto il fuoco nel terminal 3 è morto, hanno detto fonti della sicurezza.

L'uomo che ha aperto il fuoco questa mattina all'aeroporto di Los Angeles uccidendo un agente della Tsa (Transportation Security Administration) e ferendo diverse altre persone per poi venire a sua volta ucciso in uno scontro a fuoco era un agente fuori servizio della stessa Tsa, secondo quanto riferiscono fonti di stampa sul posto.

No per ora l'unico morto e' l'agente TSA, lo sparatore e' ferito in ospedale.

Alla conferenza stampa hanno detto suspect shot and in custody e alla CNN continuano a riferire di 1 morto.
