SAS to Launch San Francisco Service in S13; Boosts Newark Operation

SAS starting 08APR13 will start Copenhagen – San Francisco service, with 6 weekly operation on board Airbus A340-300 aircraft. Reservation for this new flight is now open. In addition, the Star Alliance member from 01APR13 will increase Copenhagen – Newark service from daily to 10 weekly.

chissà se anche AZ annuncia qualche nuova rotta per la S 13, e soprattutto la mette già in vendita...................ma a proposito, chiedo scusa se vado OT, ma la DEL che fine ha fatto?

Sas promuove la rotta per San Francisco che diventa daily annuale. Mi sembra notevole che una compagnia e un hub di dimensioni medio/piccole come SAS e CPH riescano a sostenere un daily annuale per SFO.

SAS in winter 2015/16 season is increasing operation on Copenhagen – San Francisco route, as it plans to operate daily flight on year-round basis, on/after 25OCT15. The Star Alliance member operates this route 6 times a week in winter 2014/15 season.

A mio avviso il volo regge perché San Francisco resta hub United e SAS può sfruttare diverse connessioni. Esiste poi una piccola comunità danese sulla west cost, anni fa volavano addirittura diretti a Seattle.
