A me non risulta questa consegna. Credo che la notizia riguardi l'arrivo a MEX del prototipo del 787 che sta effettuando un tour mondiale.

Si è così, l' arrivo del 787 a MEX fa parte del DreamTour organizzato da Boeing, e a maggior ragione per presentarlo alla stessa Aeromexico quale sua cliente. Leggendo su Airliners.net, sembra che il CEO di Aeromexico abbia annunciato le seguenti destinazioni per i loro 787, i quali se non sbaglio dovrebbero arrivare a partire da agosto 2013: SCL, EZE, NRT, CDG e BCN. Nessuna novità quindi per il momento riguardo FCO, ma pure io penso e spero che aprano tale rotta non appena arrivi il Dreamliner!
Aeromexico ha in ordine cinque (5) 787: non potranno mandarli ovunque e, se già hanno annunciato quelle cinque destinazioni, dubito abbiano spazio per altro. Dopodiché SCL ed EZE sono operabili anche con 777 e 767 (dei secondi non so quanti ne rimarranno dopo l'EIS del 787), quindi è ampiamento possibile uno scambio, ma non darei tanto per scontata l'apertura di FCO con 787.
Boeing ha annunciato ieri l'ottenimento della certificazione FAA per il 787 motorizzato GE. Dovrebbero essere imminenti, dunque, le prime consegne per JAL (a fine marzo) e Air India (maggio).
Il contatore delle consegne è attualmente ancora fermo a 5.

As per 22MAR12 GDS inventory display, due to on-going aircraft delivery delay, ANA further postpones planned Daily 787 service on Tokyo Haneda – Frankfurt route. Until 09APR12, Boeing 787 operates on ODD Days, while 777-200ER operates on EVEN days.

Non esattamente: Boeing ha dovuto risolvere qualche problemino in più - si tratta principalmente di "rework " , ovvero di correzioni ad aerei già completati. Molte consegne, inoltre, erano bloccate dall'attesa della certificazione del motore GE modificato con PIP1 (il primo dei perfoemance improvement packages sviluppati da GE).
Più che bloccata la produzione, insomma, è bloccata la consegna, con molti aerei parcheggiati a Everett.

Boeing (NYSE: BA) this month will begin the fifth segment of the 787 Dream Tour, a worldwide tour featuring the Dreamliner. This leg of the tour will include five cities across South America, Central Asia, Russia and Europe.
"Boeing is delighted to bring the all-new 787 to customers, partners, government officials and media in South America, Central Asia, Russia and Europe," said Larry Loftis, vice president and general manager, 787 program.
The March and April schedule includes the following stops:
March 26-31: Santiago, Chile to visit LAN Airlines and be on display at the FIDAE Air Show.
April 1-2: Shannon, Ireland for a scheduled day of maintenance activities.
April 2-3: Baku, Azerbaijan to visit Azerbaijan Airlines.
April 3-6: Moscow, Russia to visit airline customers, suppliers and employees from the Boeing Design Center.
April 6-11: Istanbul, Turkey to visit customers and suppliers.
April 11-13: Madrid, Spain to visit Air Europa, suppliers and Boeing employees.
The Dream Tour airplane is outfitted with the 787's special cabin features including a welcoming entryway, dramatically larger dimmable windows, bigger bins and dynamic LED lighting. The airplane is configured with a luxurious business-class cabin, an overhead crew rest compartment and an economy class section.
Dates and locations for additional tour stops will be announced approximately one month in advance. At many of the stops, local media will have the opportunity to participate in tours of the airplane and discussions with Boeing executives and pilots.

Japan Airlines took delivery of its first two Boeing 787 Dreamliners on Monday, after a delay of about three years while the plane-maker wrestled with development and production problems.
The delivery to JAL brings the total number of 787s delivered to seven. The planes also are the first 787s to be powered by General Electric engines rather than Rolls-Royce.
The airline, which has 45 Dreamliners on order, postponed 787 service on several routes while it waited out another delay this year resulting from a manufacturing problem.
"We were sorry there was a slight delay, but relieved the aircraft is finally ready," said JAL President Yoshiharu Ueki at a ceremony marking the occasion. "And the delay's impact was that the carrier's service from Japan to Moscow, to Delhi, to Beijing was delayed one month."
JAL had expected to receive its first 787 by the end of February.
The 787 is about three years behind its original schedule because of problems with Boeing's complex global supply chain.
"We know we were a little late, and we apologise for that," Jim Albaugh, chief executive of Boeing's commercial planes division, said at the ceremony. "We hope you'll forgive us."
Boeing made first delivery of a 787 last year to All Nippon Airways and is ramping up the production rate to 10 per month, a target many experts believe to be unattainable.
In early February, Boeing reported signs of "delamination" on the rear fuselage of some 787s. Delamination occurs when stress causes layered composite materials to separate.
Boeing has said it will take 10 to 14 days per plane to repair. The problem has caused some experts again to question the production rate target. Boeing has stood by its goal, saying the new issue may affect deliveries in the first part of 2012, but not in the longer term.
The company recently increased the 787 production rate to 3.5 per month from 2.5. Boeing is boosting production rates on all of its commercial planes to meet increased demand.
