UIA offers new opportunities for travel during Summer 2010
The summer IATA-2010 flight schedule came into operation 28 March 2010 and will run through 30 October 2010. During the summer Ukraine International Airlines will offer its passengers new opportunities for air travel to Europe, the Persian Gulf, the Middle East and within Ukraine.
In April UIA introduces new direct flights from Kiev to Almaty – to be operated three times per week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
In April the airline also launches its new Kiev-Tel-Aviv scheduled flights, operated daily except on Saturdays.
The new UIA Kiev-Geneva scheduled flight will operate three times per week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
During the 2010 summer season, UIA will offer passengers the opportunity to enjoy new regular service to Croatia, where a visa-free regime will come into effect for Ukrainian citizens from 1 May until 31 October. UIA passengers can now also fly from Kiev to Dubrovnik and from Kiev to Pula every week on Thursdays, and from Kiev to Split weekly on Tuesdays.
UIA passengers may now travel to Croatia from Donetsk: UIA is introducing weekly Donetsk-Dubrovnik service on Saturdays, and it is also possible to fly to Rome directly from Donetsk thanks to the airline’s new Donetsk-Rome flights, to be operated twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays. Flights from Donetsk to Lvov will begin operating twice per week, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The frequency of UIA’s own domestic flights will increase as well. Passengers on UIA may now fly from Kiev to Odessa daily except Saturdays and from Kiev to Donetsk daily except Sundays. The airline’s Kiev-Lvov service will operate daily except Sundays, while its Kiev - Simferopol service will be operated daily.
Some additions have also been introduced into UIA’s schedule of international flights from Odessa, with UIA’s Odessa-Vienna service providing more convenient connections with partner airlines to many European, North American and Asian destinations. The Odessa-Vienna flight departs Monday to Friday at 05:15, and on Saturday and Sunday at 15:00.
UIA has also increased the frequency of its scheduled flights to other destinations.
-Daily direct UIA flights from Kiev to Tbilisi for summer 2010;
-Flights from Kiev to Nice have been increased to three times per week, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays;
-Kiev-Milan service will operate daily except Thursdays and Saturdays;
-Kiev-Brussels flights will operate daily except on weekends.
Flights between Kiev and Abu Dhabi during the summer will be operated four times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. As result of the partnership between UIA and Etihad Airways, passengers are offered a unique opportunity to travel to Asia, Africa, Australia and the Persian Gulf via the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
UIA also plans to open new regular service between Kiev and Delhi in September 2010.
