EUROPE FLIGHT DISRUPTIONS

Due to volcanic activity in Iceland and ash cloud moving over Europe, Singapore Airlines is only operating the following scheduled flights to and from Europe on 20 April:
* SQ378, Singapore-Milan-Barcelona, now departing at 0130hrs (Singapore time). This flight, which was originally scheduled to depart at 2345hrs on 19 April but which was cancelled, will now be reinstated but will operate non-stop to Barcelona, bypassing Milan. Customers able to be accommodated on this flight will be contacted directly and are otherwise advised not to proceed to the airport.
Singapore-Dubai-Istanbul flights are not affected.
Customers booked on affected flights are advised not to proceed to the airport. Customers who have registered their mobile telephone numbers with us will be notified by SMS text message.
Singapore Airlines will provide updates on affected European flights as soon as information is available. Europe-bound customers are advised to visit
www.singaporeair.com regularly for updates.

Singapore Airlines will waive cancellation and change fees for confirmed tickets to and from Europe. The waiver, which is valid for tickets issued up to and including 15 April 2010, will be for travel up to and including 02 May 2010. The same conditions apply for KrisFlyer redemption tickets.
