Temporary limitations of air traffic at Chopin Airport in September 2010
A major reconstruction of the runway intersection is due to be carried out at Warsaw Chopin Airport in September 2010. As a result, only the shortened runway section of 1300m will be available for operations in the first three weekends of September. The shorter runway section will facilitate movements of small passenger aircraft only.

From 3 September, 23:30h to 6 September, 05:00h
From 10 September, 23:30h to 12 September, 08:00h
From 17 September, 23:30h to 19 September 08:00h
The shortened runway section will be available for small aircraft movements between 5:00h and 23:30 h on days of the runway intersection reconstruction works.
Any passengers who have booked a flight, bought a ticket or plan to travel at this time are asked to contact their airline directly.
