History
The airline was established in 2009 when the Star Team Group acquired "HC Airways" (ICAO code HCW), a Vilnius-based carrier, from "Hermis Capital JSC" and renamed it Star1 Airlines. The airline launched inclusive tour charter flights on 30 June 2009 from Vilnius to Antalya and Bodrum (Turkey). The first scheduled service was initiated on 3 July 2009 on the route Vilnius-London (UK). Initially, Star1 Airlines is using 148-seat 737-700 aircraft.
Activity
Star1 Airlines operated its first IT charter flights on behalf of the tour operator "Star Holidays" - part of the "Star Team Group" - to Antalya and Bodrum (Turkey) on 30 June 2009, followed by charters to Heraklion and Thessaloniki (Greece) on 1 July 2009 and to Dalaman (Turkey) on 3 July 2009. The first scheduled service was launched by Star1 Airlines on 3 July 2009 on the route Vilnius-London. Plans are under way to extend the scheduled service pattern to five destinations.

Intanto si vuole lanciare con prezzi promozionali da 43 euro (149 LT) per Malpensa e Girona e 75 euro (259 LT) per Dublino.
Il prezzo normale per Malpensa dovrebbe invece essere di 249 LT (72 E) per la economy restricted, 439 LT (101 E) per la economy, 599 LT (174 E) per la economy flexible.
Vista la carenza di voli dall'Italia verso i paesi baltici potrebbe avere un suo spazio.
