BA’S £35 FUEL SURCHARGES ARE HIGHER THAN RYANAIR’S AVERAGE FARE
Following the arrest of rapper Snoop Dogg after an alleged fracas outside a British Airways departure lounge in Heathrow, Ryanair today (Fri April 28th) posed the question, who is the biggest gangsta? In the past two years, as the price of oil has doubled, BA’s fuel surcharge has increased fourteen-fold, making them the biggest gangstas in the aviation hood. Ryanair GUARANTEES NO FUEL SURCHARGE EVER.
Ryanair’s Head of Communications Peter Sherrard said:
“In the Gangsta world, Mr Dogg is a minnow compared to British Airways however it is understandable that he might have been annoyed with British Airways’ £35 fuel surcharge when he could have avoided it completely with Ryanair.
“If Snoop is perplexed by how much British Airways pimps its passengers for fuel surcharges then he should check out our 14 pence* “no fuel surcharge guaranteed” May seat sale, for a smooth getaway on www.ryanair.com immediately”.
