SkyWork Airlines expands its programme for summer 2012
With the forthcoming summer flight plan for 2012, customers of SkyWork Airlines will benefit from new direct flights to Cologne and Nice, additional services in the existing network and numerous new holiday destinations. The expansion is also creating new jobs and strengthening the position of SkyWork Airlines as a dependable partner.
SkyWork Airlines is continuing to grow and is offering its customers two new destinations in the form of Cologne and Nice in the next summer flight plan. Cologne, as befits an important business travel destination, will be linked to the federal capital with morning and evening flights every day except Saturday. This makes it possible for passengers, especially businesspeople, to fly there and back on the same day. Nice will also be served with one flight a day on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, offering the many weekend visitors and holiday home owners a convenient and time-saving route from Bern to the south of France.
Moreover, the number of flights on existing routes is being stepped up. For example, Barcelona will now be served daily (previously just four times a week). There will now be flights from Bern to Vienna in the mornings and evenings (previously only one evening flight). In this way SkyWork Airlines is making its product even more attractive, especially for business travellers and on the Barcelona and Vienna routes.
In order to provide adequate cover for the new flight schedule, SkyWork Airlines is again expanding its fleet in the coming months. From summer 2012 a total of seven aircraft (three DASH-8 and four Dornier 328) will be in service. Adequate reserve capacity will also continue to guarantee a stable flight plan.
Responding to the growth in demand
“The innovations in our summer flight plan underline our ongoing endeavours to offer our customers a well-rounded programme from Bern”, said SkyWork Airlines CEO Tomislav Lang, summarising the plans. “With the new direct flights to Cologne and Nice, plus the demand-driven enhancements to the existing route network, we will become even more attractive for our business and holiday customers and satisfy a big demand in the region. And we will also create additional important jobs as a result of the expansion - within the SkyWork Group as well as at our suppliers and partners“, Lang continued.
New holiday destinations – also bookable flight-only for the first time
In response to the great demand and thanks to the acquisition of Aaretal Reisen, SkyWork Airlines is also able to offer numerous new holiday destinations from Bern starting next summer. For example, customers will be able to fly conveniently and reliably to Menorca, Olbia, Preveza, Reus, Split, Thessaloniki, Cagliari, Catania, Elba and Figari.
As a further special highlight, SkyWork Airlines is now offering the option to book flight-only travel to the holiday destinations. Customers will now be free to make their own individual holiday plans and not be dependent on all-in packages. The flights are bookable now at www.flyskywork.com or at SkyWork Travel and Aaretal Reisen travel agencies or in any other travel agent.
The summer flight plan applies from 25 March 2012 to 27 October 2012 and can be called up today at www.flyskywork.com.
