Manchester: Alicante, Faro, Madrid e Tenerife. Aggiunge due frequenze a Dublino.
Humberside: Alicante (2x/week) dal 12 Aprile.

Ryanair launches four new routes from Manchester​

Ryanair will operate four new routes from Manchester to Alicante, Faro, Madrid and Tenerife, chief executive Michael O'Leary announced this morning.

The low cost airline will also increase the frequency of its Manchester to Dublin route from four to six flights a day.

A new twice weekly route from Humberside AIport to Alicante will start from 12 April.

The new fares go on sale tomorrow (Thursday 27 January) and flights begin on 14 April in time for the Easter holidays.

O'Leary has vowed to undercut the other airlines flying from Manchester, which include EasyJet, Jet2.com, Flybe and bmibaby.

Speaking at a press conference, he said: "We expect Ryanair's five Manchester routes to deliver 600,000 passengers and sustain 600 jobs in Manchester while saving passengers over £6 million on the fares offered by Manchester's high fare airlines."

Nuove rotte, a partire da Aprile, da 2 scali britannici dimenticati da Ryanair...

FR torna a puntare su Manchester (che era stata ridotta al solo collegamento con Dublino) grazie a nuovi voli per :

- Alicante
- Faro
- Madrid
- Tenerife/Sud

e viene riaperta Humberside con una nuova rotta per :

- Alicante
 
Humberside è una riapertura.
Venne collegata per 6 mesi con Dublino, nel 2006.

Su Manchester la compagnia torna a puntare, dopo aver cancellato tutte le rotte, eccetto la sola Dublino.

Non mi sarebbe strano di vedere a loro sulla Newcastle-Alicante anche...
 
Manchester-Ciampino ci poteva anche stare ma

diciamo che si sono inseriti sul sicurissimo.

L'Humberside è un'ex contea, che prende il nome dal fiume Humber. É stato chiamato così per allargare la definizione geografica. Esattamente come nel caso dello scalo di Teesside (oggi Durham Tees Valley).

Lo scalo serve principalmente le città di Hull, Scunthorpe, Grimbsy e Lincoln.

Ci vola comunque anche KLM.
