Nel comunicato stampa Ryanair si parla di 3x daily:
2 New Aircraft, 4 New Routes and increased Frequencies for Madrid
Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, today (1st Oct) announced that from November it will base two new aircraft (value $140million) in Madrid, open four new routes (Alicante, Palma, Santiago and Valencia) and double the frequencies on three existing routes (Dublin, Milan and Santander) as it adds 75 new weekly rotations at its Madrid base. Ryanair will now offer six domestic and 17 international routes from Madrid on six based aircraft.
The Madrid – Dublin and Madrid – Santander routes will increase to double daily while
Madrid - Milan increases to three times daily. This increase in fleet, routes and frequencies, which will begin on Tuesday 18th November, will see Ryanair base 6 aircraft in Madrid, carry over 2.6million passengers p.a., support 2,600 jobs, deliver an annual tourist spend of €260million and save passengers over €285million compared to Iberia’s high fares and fuel surcharges.
Celebrating the launch of these two aircraft and four new routes, Ryanair launched a winter seat sale with 1million €1 seats (incl taxes and charges), for travel only in October, November and December. Ryanair recommends passengers book these €1 fares directly on
www.ryanair.com and avoid screenscraper/ticket-tout websites who add hidden, unlawful and unauthorised mark-ups of between 200% to 300% on Ryanair’s ticket prices. These seats are available only on
www.ryanair.com until midnight Sunday 5th October.
Announcing the new aircraft and routes Ryanair’s, Michael O’Leary, said:
“Ryanair is delighted to announce two new aircraft, four new routes and 75 new weekly frequencies at Madrid. Only Ryanair guarantees the lowest fares and no fuel surcharge and Ryanair will continue to offer Spanish consumers competition and choice over the high fares and fuel surcharges which Iberia has imposed on them on domestic routes for so many years now.
These new routes to Alicante, Palma, Santiago and Valencia are available for booking today from just €1 (incl taxes and charges) on
www.ryanair.com and we advise all Spanish passengers to avoid paying Iberia’s high fares and fuel surcharges on these routes by booking early as demand for these €1 fares will be enormous.”
