Four New Knock Routes
RYANAIR TO OPEN 4 KNOCK ROUTES TO BARCELONA, FRANKFURT, MILAN AND PARIS
Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, today (21st Nov) delivered even more traffic and tourism growth for Knock airport as Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Michael O’Leary announced that Ryanair will open 4 new routes (14 in total) from Knock to Barcelona (Girona), Frankfurt (Hahn), Milan (Bergamo) and Paris (Beauvais) from April 2012. Ryanair’s 14 routes from Knock will deliver over 500,000 passengers p.a., sustaining over 500 local jobs in the Mayo region.
To celebrate its 14 low fare Knock routes, Ryanair released 1m seats with fares from €14.99 for travel across its 1,000 European routes in Jan 2012. These seats must be booked on
www.ryanair.com before midnight (24:00hrs) Thursday (24th Nov). Ryanair’s 4 new low fare routes from Knock go on sale on
www.ryanair.com tomorrow (Tue 22nd Nov).
Speaking in Knock, Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary said:
