The Irish carrier Ryanair is to add four new routes from Glasgow Prestwick Airport from summer 2012.
The destinations are to Barcelona (Spain), Bydgoszcz (Poland), Corfu (Greece) and Chania (Crete, Greece).
These will take the number of Ryanair routes from the South Ayrshire airport to 25.
Ryanair's head of sales and marketing, Lesley Kane, said: "Ryanair's 1.3 million passengers will sustain 1,300 jobs locally."
Glasgow Prestwick's chief commercial officer, Graeme Sweenie, added: "This is great news for the airport and our summer flight season."

Ryanair has announced six new routes from East Midlands Airport.
The budget airline will offer flights to Barcelona and Almeria (Spain), Chania (Crete), Zadar (Croatia), Corfu and Rhodes from summer 2012.
The Irish carrier now offers 36 destinations from the Castle Donington airport.
Ryanair said the new routes would increase its traffic at the airport to about 1.8m people a year and would help it sustain 1,800 local jobs in 2012.
East Midlands Airport recently had its first ever flight to New York, offered by budget airline Jet2.com.
