Accident: Egypt Air A332 at Cairo on Apr 2nd 2010, didn't fit between two light poles

An Egypt Air Airbus A330-200, registration SU-GCI performing flight MS-267 from Cairo to Hurghada (Egypt) with 195 passengers, was taxiing off stand 310 in preparation for departure. Due to a typo the crew however had entered a wrong parking position into their FMS and therefore followed a wrong taxiway unsuitable for their aircraft type, so that the airplane impacted two light poles. No inuries occured. Both wings thus received substantial damage, both light poles collapsed.

A replacement Airbus A330-200 registration SU-GCF reached Hurghada with a delay of 3 hours.

Egypt's Civil Aviation Authority have launched an investigation.
