Pau Airport to close for upgrade
Pau Airport will close for two weeks in the peak summer period in order to upgrade its landing systems.
The airport, in South West France, will close for two weeks between 27 July and 8 August.
Ryanair, which operates three routes to and from Pau from Bristol, London Stansted and Brussels Charleroi, has apologised to customers and is offering alternative flights or a full refund.
Ryanair’s Daniel de Carvalho said: “These essential upgrade works will benefit all passengers in the long term and will help to ensure that all passengers suffer fewer adverse weather-related disruptions on flights to/from Pau.”
