Lufthansa is realigning its operational schedules on key European routes from Frankfurt starting 30MAR14, which sees the Star Alliance member offering shuttle-style schedule every 1-2 hours. Planned changes as follow.
Frankfurt – Brussels
Lufthansa offers 10 daily service, with Frankfurt departs at :25 at every hour from 0725 to 2125 (except 1000, 1200, 1400, 1800, 2000hrs). Brussels departs at :05 at every hour from 0605 to 1905 (except 0800, 1200, 1400, 1600hrs)
Frankfurt – London Heathrow
Lufthansa offers 12 daily service, which will be operated by Airbus A320/321 only, instead of A319/320/321/Boeing 737 mix. From Frankfurt, flight departs at :00 at every hour from 0700 to 2100 (except 1100, 1300, 1900hrs. 2100hrs service operates at 2130). From Heathrow, service operates at :30 at every hour from 0630 to 1730 (except 1200 and 1800hrs. 1100 and 1600hrs operates at :45; 1900 and 2000hrs operates at :00)
Frankfurt – Vienna
Lufthansa and Austrian continues to offer combined 12 daily service, with Frankfurt departs at :50 at every hour from 0650 to 2150 (except 1300, 1400, 1800, 2000hrs). Vienna departs at :10 at every hour from 0610 to 2010 (except 0800, 1200, 1600hrs)

Customer-friendly, regular flight times to London-Heathrow and Brussels as well as - together with Austrian Airlines to Vienna

In the upcoming summer flight timetable, Lufthansa will set the flight times of three more existing connections at fixed hourly intervals, making it easier for customers to plan their journeys. The busy European routes from Frankfurt to Vienna, London-Heathrow and Brussels will also get regular departure times starting 30 March. That means these flights will depart on an hourly basis - except at times of lower traffic.

Back in October 2012, Lufthansa had already introduced hourly departures on three connections within Germany - from Frankfurt to Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, respectively - mainly to make travel planning easier for frequent flyers and also to reduce waiting times if a flight was missed. Spreading the flights evenly across the day is popular with many passengers, so Lufthansa has now extended the hourly schedule to the aforementioned European connections, which enjoy strong international demand.

Lufthansa planned the hourly rhythm on the connection between Frankfurt and Vienna in conjunction with Austrian Airlines. The two airlines will alternate their services on this important connection between their respective hubs, with a departure every 60 or at times every 120 minutes, and a total of 13 flights a day. Austrian Airlines is increasing the number of its flights on this route from five to six a day. Departure times from Frankfurt are always at ten minutes before the hour.

All flights to Brussels and London-Heathrow will be carried out by Lufthansa alone. Passengers still have the choice of twelve departure times a day to London-Heathrow (departure from Frankfurt on the hour) and ten departures to Brussels (always 25 minutes past the hour).
