Lion Air may buy another 10 jets from Boeing.
Lion Air of Indonesia is close to signing a deal for 10 Boeing Co . 787s that have a list price of $1.9 billion.
As Reuters reports, Lion Air will choose the newer carbon-composite Boeing Dreamliner over the Airbus A330 and that the deal is expected to be signed in Jakarta on June 8.
Earlier this year, Lion Air and Boeing (NYSE: BA) finalized a deal for 230 737s worth $22.4 billion at list prices, which is Boeing's biggest commercial airplane order ever both for the number of planes and the dollar value.
