Certamente sarebbe la compagnia ideale e con la macchina perfetta per BGY-JFK e BGY-BOS e non ho dubbi che avrebbe successo anche daily.
Penso però che servano i 321XLR, forse gli LR sono un po' al limite a pieno carico.

Sacbo ha dimostrato di saper guardare sapientemente al futuro e secondo me sanno benissimo di essere l'aeroporto perfetto per lo sbarco eventuale di JetBlue in Italia.

Attenzione che Jetblue non ha niente di low cost, offre un servizio di alto livello, a mio giudizio è di gran lunga la migliore compagnia Usa e giustamente la qualità si paga.

Oddìo, sarà anche "il migliore" (ma senza sapere di chi e rispetto a quali parametri il giudizio lascia il tempo che trova), ma la sera e la notte è peggio della stazione di periferia quanto ad accampamenti e indicibile puzza di piedi. Gente con tenda e sacco a pelo ovunque. Comprensibile sotto l'aspetto umano, ma certamente non considerato evidentemente nei parametri di giudizio, per come la vedo io.

Quindi non può volare da BGY ?
Ti consiglierei di vedere un po' di prezzi di AirArabia ed Emirates (c/s FZ) da BGY.
Guarda che l'era dei voli a 1.99 tutto compreso è finita da un pezzo.

Non volevo sollevare un polverone 😅 la mia era una considerazione basata sul fatto che l'A321LR o A321XLR hanno una dimensione perfetta per BGY poi sul tema dei servizi, oramai lo scalo è assolutamente equiparabile a qualsiasi altro scalo europeo della sua dimensione. Mancano giusto i JetBridge (ce ne sono 2) ma al momento mancano anche le compagnie che ne giustifichino l'installazione massiccia.
 
JetBlue Airways will launch daily service to Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) from New York JFK in summer 2023 following a struggle to gain a foothold in the market and appeals to the U.S. Transportation Department for assistance.

Seasonal slots were granted in early March by AMS slot coordinator Airport Coordination Netherlands (ACNL), though JetBlue raised concerns over their temporary duration and “commercially questionable” timings. The New York-based airline’s decision to begin service in late summer comes after a Dutch court ruled that a State plan to limit annual flight movements “has not followed the correct procedure,” and would not be allowed to proceed.

The ruling is “giving JetBlue confidence there is room for it to enter the market,” the airline said.

JetBlue previously argued that the policy—which sought to reduce takeoffs and landings at Schiphol by 12% to 440,000 a year—would prioritize carriers with existing access, stating, “In other words, new entrants will be indefinitely excluded from AMS once the Balanced Approach is implemented.” Several airlines including British Airways, Delta Air Lines, KLM, Lufthansa and United Airlines had also opposed the planned limit, which was slated to begin in November with an initial cap of 460,000.

JetBlue’s new daily service will begin in late summer onboard an Airbus A321LR, with exact start dates set to be announced in the coming weeks.

“This route is long overdue for some competition,” JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes said.

Amsterdam Schiphol will be JetBlue’s third European city destination once service to Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) begins in June, joining existing London routes to both Heathrow (LHW) and Gatwick (LGW). It also plans to add AMS service from Boston, subject to receipt of government operating authority.

Ieri sera lèggevo che sono stati revocati gli slots a JetBlue anche per il 2024
 
Jetblue taglia i pasti caldi per i pax in economy sui voli transatlantici, non saranno piu' disponibili nemmeno a pagamento.
Per questi pax saranno serviti solo pasti freddi tipo insalate, tramezzini ecc.
