India: A320 GoAir atterra in emergenza causa malfunzionamento dei sensori

Un velivolo della compagnia indiana low cost GoAir si è incendiato oggi poco dopo il decollo dall'aeroporto internazionale di New Delhi verso Bangalore, costringendo il pilota ad un atterraggio di emergenza nello stesso scalo, in un incidente in cui secondo le prime informazioni nessun passeggero Ndtv. L'incendio, precisa l'emittente, si è manifestato per cause ancora non chiare, quando l'aereo aveva già preso quota. Quattro mezzi dei vigili del fuoco sono intervenuti sul posto per spegnere le fiamme.

A GoAir Airbus A320-200, registration VT-WAM performing flight G8-201 from Delhi to Bangalore (India) with 165 passengers and 6 crew, was climbing out of Delhi when the crew received a cargo fire indication and decided to return to Delhi for a safe landing about 18 minutes after departure. Attending emergency services found no trace of fire, heat or smoke.

The airline suspects a faulty sensor as cause of the indication.
