La stessa rotta è stata aperta di recente da Air Arabia in partenza dall'aeroporto di Borg El Arab. Saranno quindi 3 le rotte in concorrenza tra MS ed Air Arabia: Khartoum, Beirut e Kuwait.

Starting 1st October 2010, EGYPTAIR will launch new operation from Alexandria to Khartoum. EGYPTAIR will offer 2 flights a week on Tuesday and Friday using AB320.
The Alexandria –Khartoum flights depart at 07:30 am And arrive at Khartoum at 11:30 am.
Return flights depart Khartoum at 12:30pm and arrive in Alexandria at 14:30pm.
