easyjet has announced its passenger numbers and load factor for May 2009.
The airline carried 3,948,416 passengers, which was a 1.8% increase o May 2008's figure of 3,877,960. The 83.5%load factor for the month represented a .03 percentage point rise on last May's 83.2%.
For the rolling 12 month period ending 31 May 2009, easyJet carried 44,497,846 passengers compared with 40,604,175 carried in the 12 months to the end of May 2008, a 9.6% increase. The load factors for the respective periods were 85.2% and 83.2%.
