E' stato ufficialmente pubblicizzato il lancio del check-in online di Easjet ed emergono due particolari interessanti: per chi lo utilizza potrà arrivare piu' tardi in aeroporto basta essere al gate 15 minuti prima della partenza (ottimo! mi sempra che nessun altra compagnia offra questi tempi ristretti

) e l'operazione di check-in online e la stampa della cartà d'imbarco potrà avvenire direttamente in fase di prenotazione del volo, in questo modo non ci sarà la necessità di doversi nuovamente ricollegare al sito 2 o 3 giorni prima della partenza evidando così possibili dimenticanze!
Questa è un' innovazione che nessun altra compagnia aveva mai adottato!

easyJet becomes first major airline to roll out online check-in
easyJet, Europe's leading low-fares airline, has become the first major low-cost airline to roll-out internet check-in for its UK passengers – and is offering a 15-minute gate arrival time for those travelling only with hand baggage.
Following a successful trial in early February,
easyJet is now offering online check-in on all routes from London Stansted, London Gatwick and Edinburgh airports and is in the process of rolling-out the service to customers across Europe.
By April, the innovation should be available to 90% of easyJet’s UK passengers.
Online check-in is a simple process that enables passengers with hand baggage to bypass the check-in queue by printing-off their boarding pass from their own computer.
Unlike other airlines, easyJet allows passengers to print off their boarding pass at the time of booking - rather than having to log-in again immediately before travel.
The procedure has been approved by the Department for Transport and passengers still face the same security checks.
Passengers who have checked-in online will be able to arrive at the boarding gate 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time – a more generous time than that offered by any other airline.
easyJet is doing more to make life simpler for its customers than any other airline. Other recent innovations include:

Early Bird transfers – for passengers arriving in time for an earlier flight
All-night check-in at London Gatwick
