Easyjet apre la nuova rotta Venezia-Londra Luton 4x week dal 13 febbraio 2014. I voli sono in vendita.

Con questa apertura Easyjet collega Venezia con 3 aeroporti di Londra: LGW, LTN e SEN.

In totale Venezia è adesso collegata con 5 dei 6 gli aeroporti di Londra: LHR, LGW, LTN, LCY e SEN. Manca solo STN che però è collegato dal vicino Treviso.

EASYJET’S NEW SERVICE FROM LONDON LUTON AIRPORT TO VENICE TAKES-OFF

easyJet, the UK's largest airline and largest operator at London Luton Airport has celebrated the inaugural flight of its services to Venice today, Thursday 13 February 2014.

Gavin Shuker, Member of Parliament for Luton South joined the celebration as an honorary cabin crew member for the morning, to welcome passengers onboard the aircraft which was flanked by giant venetian masks in homage to the city's famous 'Carnivale' and masquerade balls, to mark the occasion.
The new flights to Venice, one of the world's most romantic cities, is easyJet's fifth Italian destination from London Luton Airport along with Catania, Milan, Olbia and Pisa and launches just in time for Valentine's Day. Over 1,000 passengers are flying easyJet to Italy from London Luton Airport in time for the celebration next week.

"We're thrilled to be launching our new services to Venice, easyJet's 39th destination from London Luton Airport. easyJet flies over 4.5 million passengers in and out of Luton each year and we're pleased to be expanding the choice and variety of our destinations from the airport. This uniquely beautiful city offers something for everyone and we're sure our easy and affordable services will be very popular."

With fares from as little as £31.83* one way including taxes, over 50,000 passengers annually are expected to use the new services between London Luton and Venice which depart each Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

I voli sono caricati e in vendita da qualche mese. Il sistema aeroportuale veneziano è ora collegato con tutti e 6 gli scali di riferimento dell'area londinese

A mio avviso quello che manca da Venezia/Treviso è un volo per Londra con una partenza decente in prima mattina (attorno 7am).

Al momento la prima partenza da VCE per Londra è con BA alle 11:35 per LGW e da TSF alle 10:05 per STN.
Un overnight BA sarebbe una buona mossa!

In effetti BA, dovrebbe pianificare meglio gli orari. Molte persone preferiscono partire la mattina presto ed immagino che possa essere utile per i collegamenti Intercontinentali. Per rimanere in tema, Luton va comunque a completare l' offerta verso gli aeroporti Londinesi.
