E il famoso raddoppio della MXP che non avviene perché "non ci sono aerei"? :clown:

Se non sbaglio avevano pubblicizzato queste rotte come le: rotte legate alle birre (o una cosa del genere).

Lunga eh come rotta! Sbaglio o entra nella top 10 dei viaggi in aereo più lunghi?

Dalla S19 CX chiude Copenhagen, causa l'entrata di SAS sulla rotta. L'esperimento e' durato poco.

Cathay closes Copenhagen-Hong Kong

The route had only been intended as a seasonal service, and now Cathay Pacific says it will not be renewed.
Cathay Pacific’s route between its Hong Kong base and Copenhagen, which opened for the summer on May 2, will not be resumed for the 2019 summer season, the airline has revealed.
As part of a commercial review of its network and overall aircraft deployment in Europe, the route, which was introduced with much fanfare this year, will be extinguished. It warned this summer that it would be cutting costs worldwide as part of a restructuring exercise.
Cathay says it will “continue to offer attractive flight connections for its customers with over 100 flights per week from Scandinavia via our European gateways to Hong Kong, Asia and Southwest Pacific”, keeping its “strong commitment in the Scandinavian market”.
The oneworld carrier’s nonstop service between Copenhagen and Hong Kong, which is being flown three times a week with a new Airbus A350-900, will continue as planned until October 26, 2018.
Who pulled the trigger?
It appears to be competition from SAS that has caused Cathay Pacific to shut it down.
SAS announced several months ago that, from October 28, it would move its Hong Kong route from Stockholm Arlanda to Copenhagen, and from there fly five times a week all year round.
Cathay’s Hong Kong route has otherwise been very popular and demand has been relatively high already in the first season.
But one thing is the load factor, another is the ticket prices, and the average income from fares has apparently not been high enough for Cathay to try to tackle SAS, which has the additional potential, of course, to feed passengers into the route from across its Scandinavian network.
