Pare che stamattina un piccolo turboelica cargo polacco subito dopo essere decollato dall'aeroporto di Tallinn sia stato costretto ad atterrare sul lago ghiacciato Ulemiste, che dista solo poche centinaia di metri dalla pista. Nessuno si è fatto male.

According to the latest news send by BNS, a Polish cargo plane crashed this morning on the ice of Ülemiste lake, just few meters from Tallinn airport lanes.


According to Erik Sakkov, board member of Tallinn airport, the accident would have happened without causing any serious injury to the crew on board of the plane that crashed on the frozen Ülemiste lake right after sending an SOS message at 10.21.

The causes of the accident are still uncertain but further investigations will try to understand what happened after the take off of the plane even if the fact that the pilot and the other five members of the crew were able to leave the plane without the help of the paramedics it is already great news.

L'aereo un Antonov AN26 non stava decollando da Tallinn, bensi stava arrivando dalla Finlandia e doveva atterrare a Tallinn.

TALLINN, Estonia — Estonian authorities say a Polish cargo plane has made an emergency landing on a frozen lake near the capital due to landing gear and engine problems.

Economy Ministry spokesman Kalev Vapper says one of the six crew members suffered minor injuries as the Antonov AN26 turboprop aircraft en route from Finland to Estonia landed on the ice of Lake Ulemiste.

Vapper says the plane was preparing to land Thursday at Tallinn's airport when the crew noticed one part of the landing gear would not lower. One of the engines then started to malfunction on the plane's second approach, and the crew decided to make an emergency landing on the iced-over lake.

Estonian authorities say they will investigate the incident.

credo almeno 40 cm di spessore. Il problema è che da quel lago l'acquedotto di Tallinn attinge l'acqua e forse l'aereo ha perso un pò di carburante.
