New Handling Agent at Heathrow

Air Malta would like to inform its customers that Alitalia Servizi will be taking over the handling of the airline’s flights at London’s Heathrow Airport. The contract, which commences today 1st November, is expected to yield visible benefits and a better quality product to Air Malta’s customers in terms of ground services for the airline’s flights at the airport.

Air Malta operates two daily flights into and out of London’s prime airport of Heathrow. It will still fly to/from Terminal 4 but check-in desks will now be moved to Zone A - desks 7, 8 and 9. Air Malta Club Class customers and Flypass members entitled to use the VIP Holideck lounge may continue to avail themselves of the lounge facilities. Air Malta’s Ticket Sales desk will still operate from Zone D at the airport.

These changes form part of the airline’s ongoing program that aims to present its passengers with better products and services. These initiatives are also helping the airline in its endeavours to increase efficiency, reduce costs and focus more on its customers.
