Ottima news che era nell’aria da qualche giorno.

Seattle credo sia un inedito per FCO e soprattutto SEA in chiave OW e connessioni con il Pacifico ha un interessante potenziale di mercato business e leisure. Da una parte ci sono Amazon, Microsoft, Boeing, Starbucks, le Hawaii, la Costa nord ovest, il resto del pacifico e le crociere verso l’Alaska. Dall’altra parte Roma e l’Italia che ormai sono diventati dei must per il turismo americano, senza considerare che Roma ha comunque la sua capacità business non da sottovalutare.

Senza contare che il Canada è dietro l'angolo e la catchment area è potenzialmente più ampia! All'appello delle rotte USA da FCO mancherebbero giusto IAH, SLC e PHX (quest'ultima perché oggi me sento frizzante)

Mi viene in mente un piccolo scacco matto a Delta che probabilmente poteva aver in serbo l’apertura in 2/3 anni, tempo di consolidare la tratta con MSP. Bel colpo.
Non mi stupirebbe se si vedesse arrivare IAH per la S26.

Ottima notizia ma non mi risulta che Alaska abbia dei WB in flotta e al momento non opera sul lungo raggio. Wikipedia non riporta aerei ordinati in prossima consegna, forse non è aggiornato. Comunque ottima rotta e un bel passo per Alaska Airlines che sbarca sul lungo raggio vediamo che tipo di prodotto proporranno.
Interessante anche che con questa rotta si può andare alle Hawaii con un solo scalo quando normalmente dall Italia ce ne vogliono due.

Saranno operati con i 787-900 di Hawaian.
Sul lungo raggio già operano su Tokyo e a breve su Seoul.

Spero infatti che DL non annunci SEA. Per IAH dovremmo aspettare UA, chissà!

Per HNL (non ho controllato gli altri aeroporti) arrivano voli diretti, lato USA, da questi aeroporti serviti dall'Italia con volo diretto: LAX, SFO, IAH, BOS, ATL, ORD, JFK (e credo anche da EWR). E siccome siamo aviopirla, è possibile, sempre con unico scalo, fare il giro anche dall'altra parte (TYO e ICN), volendo.
