Dal 1° aprile la compagnia avvierà nuovi operativi da Chisinau verso i quattro scali unicamente con voli diretti senza scalo tecnico.

Sono previsti 4 voli su Verona, di lunedì, mercoledì, venerdì e domenica, 4 anche su Milano nelle stesse giornate; 3, invece, su Roma e Bologna il martedì, il giovedì e il sabato.

I collegamenti saranno operati da Air Moldova, di cui Gs Air è agente generale per l’Italia, con A320 con capacità da 174 posti e con Embraer 190 da 114 posti.

I voli dall’Italia permettono inoltre coincidenze per Mosca Domodedovo.

Il ritorno di Air Moldova su queste rotte secondo me sbattera fuori in breve tempo la traballante Meridiana dai voli verso la Moldova.

Meridiana ha una affidabilità operativa pari a zero spesso riduce o cancella i voli con pochi gg di preavviso. Comunque molti pax tra Italia e Moldova adesso stanno scegliendo Austrian che ha un buon servizio e prezzi interessanti.
 
La Moldavia e' un mercato prevalentemente "Price Oriented".
Gli espatriati sono talmente pochi da essere irrilevanti, lo stesso dicasi per il traffico business, ad eccezione di quello Turco, molto presente ed eccellentemente servito da TK.

La prima LC che arriva si pappa tutto e fine della storia. Per adesso le richieste delle LC sono molto esose (W6 fra tutte) e l'autorità locale ancora non ha ceduto.
Questo di Air Moldova e' un timido tentativo di dare un minimo respiro internazionale ad una compagnia che il governo vuole cedere da almeno 1 anno a fronte di proposte ricevute, zero.

Ma le low cost potrebbero operare in Moldavia? visto che è extra UE credo sia tutto disciplinato dai bilaterali, il che rende tutto molto piu' difficile.
 
L' Open Sky arrivera' ma ancora ci vuole un po'. nel frattempo sono state liberalizzate le tratte da e verso la Russia con solo Mosca contingentata.
W6 potrebbe operare senza nessun problema con il COA Ucraino ma, come detto ha richieste che al momento non vengono prese in considerazione.

Scusami perchè Wizz potrebbe operare con COA Ucraino? Intendi verso la Russia? Non servirebbe un COA locale almeno finchè non arriva l'open sky?
 
Volo 4-5 volte al anno in Moldavia.... ho volato lufthansa, austrian, meridiana e airmoldova.... quest'ultima la più cara e meno affidabile.... L'Open Sky tra Moldova e l'Europa esiste già dall'anno scorso...

Ma infatti nel post di Wizzair si parlava di richieste della compagnia di operare sulla KIV-IEV, se non ricordo male...

On 26 June 2012, the Republic of Moldova and the European Union signed a comprehensive air services agreement in the framework of a meeting of the EU-Moldova Cooperation Council in Brussels.


This agreement will open up and integrate the respective markets, strengthen cooperation and offer new opportunities for consumers and airlines. The Republic of Moldova and the EU will develop this "Common Aviation Area" based on common rules in important areas such as aviation safety and security. This way, Moldova will become a full partner of the EU in aviation by harmonising its legislation with European rules.

A horizontal air service agreement between the EU and the Republic of Moldova entered into force on 25 February 2008.

The agreement removed nationality restrictions in the bilateral air services agreements between EU Member States and the Republic of Moldova. Thereby, it allows any EU airline to operate flights between the Republic of Moldova and any EU Member State where it is established and where a bilateral agreement with Moldova exists and traffic rights are available.


E quindi... Il trattato generale e' firmato, quindi non ci sono le restrizioni, i bilaterali invece sono pochissimi.

Transport: Republic of Moldova to gradually integrate into the European common aviation market.
In the framework of the EU-Moldova Cooperation Council, the Republic of Moldova and the European Union have today signed a comprehensive air services agreement which will make Moldova a full partner of the EU in aviation by gradually integrating into the European common market.

Siim Kallas, European Commission Vice-President responsible for mobility and transport, said: "Today's agreement is very important for further strengthening the overall economic, trade and tourism relations between Moldova and the EU. It will open up and integrate the respective markets, strengthen cooperation and offer new opportunities for consumers and airlines."

The Republic of Moldova and the EU will develop a "common aviation area" based on common rules in important areas such as aviation safety and security. The Republic of Moldova will harmonise its legislation with European standards and implement EU aviation rules also in areas such as environment, consumer protection, air traffic management, economic regulation, competition issues and social aspects.

Air transport is the single most important mode of transport linking the Republic of Moldova to most EU Member States and has been growing steadily in recent years. It is expected that the agreement will offer more travel opportunities, more direct connections and economic benefits for both sides.

As a result all EU airlines will be able to operate direct flights to the Republic of Moldova from anywhere in the EU and vice-versa for Moldovan carriers. The agreement will remove all restrictions on prices and number of weekly flights between the Republic of Moldova and the EU.

Today, there are direct flight connections between the Republic of Moldova and 11 EU Member States (Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Portugal, Romania, Spain and the United Kingdom).

Background information
The agreement will be a further step in creating a wider common aviation area between the EU and its neighbours. Similar comprehensive air transport agreements with neighbouring countries have been concluded with the Western Balkan countries, Morocco, Georgia and Jordan – and negotiations have recently been finalised with Israel and are ongoing with Ukraine, Lebanon and Tunisia.

Next steps
The European Commission received a mandate to negotiate a "common aviation area" agreement with the Republic of Moldova in June 2011. Following two rounds of negotiations, the agreement was initialled in October 2011. Moldova and the EU have agreed that the agreement will be temporarily applied from the date of signature. The agreement still needs to be ratified before it will formally enter into force.

É una non notizia, visto che 9U, per la S13, non ha mai programmato voli con scalo intermedio : è stata una misura presa solo per la W12/13.
 
Air Moldova increases number of flights between Moldova and Italy

Air Moldova, the largest national air carrier, increases number of flights between Chisinau and Italian cities –Bologna, Milan, Rome and Verona. This became possible due conclusion of code-share agreement with Italian carrier Meridiana Fly.
Starting from November 25, 2013 Air Moldova will be offering its passengers 19 weekly flights and, starting from December 09, 2013 together with the launch of direct service between Chisinau and Venice, the number of weekly flights will reach 21. Such frequencies and schedule will allow Air Moldova’s passengers maximum flexibility while planning their trip.

Minimum cost of one-way ticket from Chisinau to any Italian destination is 79 Euro. The price already includes all airport taxes and charges.
Tickets for Air Moldova flights may be purchased online at the company's website www.airmoldova.md, at the ticket offices Air Moldova, or from any authorized agency in Moldova or Italy.
