Fino ad un attimo fa erano caricati anche i voli MAD-America, ma giusto il tempo di fare una simulazione che sono subito spariti

Ryanair Announces Partnership With Air Europa - Quick Facts

(RTTNews.com) - Ryanair Holdings plc (RYA.L, RYAAY) announced a new flight partnership with Air Europa, which will allow its customers to book Air Europa long haul flights on the Ryanair website. From May 23, customers can browse and book Air Europa flights on 20 long haul routes from Madrid to 16 countries. The second phase of the partnership will be launched later in the current year and will allow Ryanair customers to connect onto Air Europa long haul flights through Madrid.
Ryanair said the company is continuing its discussions with a number of other long haul airlines on potential feed and connecting flight partnerships.

Ryanair, Spain’s No.1 airline, today (23 May) announced a new flight partnership with Air Europa, which will allow its 130m customers to book Air Europa long haul flights on the Ryanair.com website. From today, customers can browse and book Air Europa flights on 20 long haul routes from Madrid to 16 countries in North, Central and South America, including Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico and the United States.
This new Air Europa partnership is the latest initiative delivered under Year 4 of Ryanair’s “Always Getting Better” customer experience programme, and follows the launch of Ryanair’s connecting flight service via Rome Fiumicino last week.
The second phase of this Air Europa partnership will be launched later this year and will allow Ryanair customers to connect onto Air Europa long haul flights through Madrid. Ryanair is continuing its discussions with a number of other long haul airlines on potential feed and connecting flight partnerships.

In Madrid, Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary said:
“We are pleased to announce this exciting partnership with Air Europa, which allows our customers to browse and book flights on 20 long routes from Madrid to exciting cities in Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico and the USA on the Ryanair.com website. Ryanair operates over 50 short haul routes to/from Madrid and now our customers can book flights on Air Europa long haul routes to destinations including Buenos Aires, Havana and New York.
This partnership is the latest AGB enhancement as we continue our journey to becoming the ‘Amazon of travel.’ We continue to speak to a number of other long haul airlines about potential connecting flight partnerships and we look forward to offering our 130m customers an even greater choice and range of long haul services in 2018.”

Finalmente dopo tanto parlare è arrivato il primo accordo di Ryanair per il feederaggio di altra compagnia, a cui penso ne seguiranno altri che erano già stati indicati come prossimi accordi con Norwegian e Aerlingus. Per compagnie di dimensioni medio piccole come queste il poter avere accesso a un network vastissimo come quello di Ryanair credo sia un vantaggio notevole

Sarà interessante capire i termini di questo accordo, saranno gli stessi dei transiti tra i voli Ryanair appena annunciati? Ovvero minimo 2,5 ore di connessione? E in caso di perdita del transito chi paga e come viene riprotetto il pax?

Cesare la cosa nuova è che FR in questo caso venderà i biglietti di Air Europa sul proprio sito, nei casi di Norwegian e Aer Lingus si è sempre parlato del contrario per ora. MOL ha sempre annunciato che i rischi del transito sono tutti del network carrier così come le spese e a lui saranno pagati i biglietti per il federaggio. IMHO la questione revenue sarà un po' più complessa...
 
Dopo UX dovrebbe essere prossimo a chiusura l'accordo anche con EI.
Pare tramontato definitivamente invece l'accordo con Norwegian.

Kenny Jacobs a margine della press conference di ieri:
“We are looking to do self-connecting flights with AirEurope in 2018. Also, Aerlingus are now doing direct to Seattle and other US destinations so we’re continuing to speak to them. We are hoping in 2018 there will be a self-connecting product with Ryanair and Aerlingus. We are no longer talking to Norwegian.“I think it is really interesting in terms of what we’ve set out, and our legacy focuses on long haul travel. Ryanair does the dot to dot destinations and that’s what we see as the future for the industry.”

Ryanair and Air Europa end partnership

Ryanair has confirmed the scrapping of a commercial partnership under which its website advertised Air Europa flights.
The two carriers had embarked on the partnership in 2017. It allowed users of the budget carrier's website to book tickets on Air Europa services to destinations in Europe and North, Central and South America.
In March 2018, the partners declared their intention to extend the arrangement to allow Ryanair passengers to connect onto the Spanish carrier's long-haul flights from Madrid. FG
