Screenshot is taken as of 0855GMT. The airline’s “all-in fare” on one-way basis as of 0930GMT has lowered to 1821INR for Goa and 3488INR for Chennai, for travel between 20OCT14 and 25OCT14. Note initial operations remain subject to change. This post will be updated on regular basis, which may not be reflected in the daily email delivery, as reservations for travel during this period may be suspended in the next few hours, until the airline “officially” opens reservation on 30MAY14.

AirAsia (airasia.com) (India) (Chennai) will commence low-fare operations on June 12 between Bangalore and Goa.
According to the Economic Times, AirAsia India “will charge passengers for check-in luggage. Cancelled tickets will not earn a refund. Passengers cannot eat their own food on board.”
AirAsia India is a joint venture, partnering AirAsia, Tata Sons Limited and Mr. Arun Bathia of Telestra Tradeplace Pvt. Ltd.
The entrance of AirAsia is expected to ignite a new fare war in India.
