NEW YORK (CNN) -- Authorities have a man in custody after evacuating LaGuardia Airport's Central Terminal early Saturday morning, a Port Authority official said.
Port Authority spokesman John Kelly said the man is in custody and that authorities are investigating his bag.
No further details were not available, and it was not immediately clear when the terminal would be opened.
Video from the scene showed passengers and their luggage standing along the roads outside the airport.
Central Terminal is one of four terminals in the airport, which is in the borough of Queens. LaGuardia is about eight miles from Manhattan.
