Morale: prima ispezione, tutto OK! Seconda ispezione, trovati danni sostanziali.
Inquietante, non aggiungo altro

Accident: Air France A332 at Caracas on Apr 13th 2011, hard landing
By Simon Hradecky, created Thursday, Apr 28th 2011 19:10Z, last updated Thursday, Apr 28th 2011 20:46Z
An Air France Airbus A330-200, registration F-GZCB performing flight AF-468 from Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) to Caracas (Venezuela), was on approach to Caracas' runway 10 when the airplane encountered rain and gusts getting high on the approach profile at about 200 feet AGL. The crew countered the nose up tendency with substantial nose down inputs, the combination of crew input and gusts in the end caused a severe hard landing at 14:25L (18:55Z), the airplane rolled out safely and taxied to the apron.
The hard landing was reported, an inspection did not find anything out of the usual and the aircraft was released for flight.
The airplane departed for the return flight AF-471 on schedule (5 hours turn around time) but had to return when the gear could not be retracted, see Incident: Air France A332 at Caracas on Apr 13th 2011, unsafe gear after departure.
Following examination determined that both main landing gear struts need to be replaced, several stringers and frames along the fuselage received deformations and need to be replaced.
The airline commented the occurrence is under full investigation.
