The Finnish Cabin Crew Union´s strike has ended

Finnair returns to normal schedule gradually. Leisure flights will be operated normally. Individual delays and cancellations are still possible during a couple of days.

Because we are returning to normal flight schedule gradually please note:

If new flights have been reserved for you during the strike, your new reservation is valid.
If you have postponed your trip during the strike, we can change your reservation back to the original flights if there are seats available.
If you have requested refund for your ticket, your original booking is not valid any more.
Any possible new flight booking made for you can be checked on our website: Manage my booking. If a new flight is already booked for you and the new flight schedule is suitable for you, go to the airport in good time to check in. Please call our customer service if the flight booked for you does not suit your travel plans.
FINNAIR FLIGHT INFORMATION

We kindly ask customers to check the flight departure times and cancellations at this link: Finnair flight list.

You may do the check-in on the internet, the self-service check-in kiosk or check-in desk at the airport. Checked baggage should be left at the Baggage Drop desk or at the check-in desk, within the normal check-in times. Online check-in for Finnair flights (opens 12 hours before departure).

Leisure flights and long-haul flights

Leisure flights are operated normally.

The following long-haul flights are operated on Friday 10 December:

AY005 Helsinki-New York at 14:10
AY089 Helsinki-Bangkok at 16:40
AY057 Helsinki-Shanghai at 17:10
AY073 Helsinki-Tokyo at 17:20
AY077 Helsinki-Osaka at 17:25
AY051 Helsinki-Beijing at 18:00
AY021 Helsinki-Delhi at 20:05
AY069 Helsinki-Hong Kong at 23:40

All other long-haul flights on Friday 10 December are cancelled.

REFUND, IF YOUR FLIGHT IS/WAS CANCELLED

We kindly ask you to cancel your flight reservation at Manage my booking or call our customer service before you fill in the refund form. If your trip begins/began on 10 December 2010 or earlier you may apply for refund for an unused Finnair flight ticket: Application for refund. If your ticket was issued by a travel agency or their internet service or another airline, please contact the issuing office for a refund.
